Mitchell Pace Environmental is part of Mitchell, Pace & Associates, which has been serving the commercial construction business in Wisconsin and the Midwest for nearly 70 years. EcoTimber flooring
EcoTimber, based in San Rafael, Calif., is a premiere provider of hardwood and bamboo flooring created through sustainable harvesting and reclamation. The company, founded in 1992, specializes in wood products from forests that are certified well managed according to the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), as well as wood flooring alternatives such bamboo.
IceStone surfaces
IceStone based in Brooklyn, N.Y., manufacturers a range of products including countertops, slabs for wall coverings and flooring – all made from durable surface material such as recycled glass and concrete. IceStone engages in environmentally sophisticated manufacturing techniques such as day lighting and graywater recycling. Due to the VOC-free, high-recycled content and Cradle-to-Cradle certification, IceStone durable surfaces are ideal for projects seeking LEED certification.
AFM Safecoat (AFM) paints
AFM, based in San Diego, Calif., has been manufacturing its Safecoat line of products for the past 30 years. Its products are formulated without toxins and other health hazards found in traditional paints and finishes.

Mitchell, Pace & Associates, a construction products distributor based in Waukesha, Wis., is now providing sustainable and other green building products to contractors in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest through a new division of the company.
The new division for the 70-year-old company is called Mitchell Pace Environmental and was created in response to the increasing interest in building products that are healthy alternatives and have minimal adverse impact on the Earth.
“Architects, developers and contractors are more frequently asking for sustainable and green building products for new buildings, additions or renovations,” said Jeff Pace of Mitchell Pace Environmental. “Our company has deep experience in sustainable and healthy building products through our residential-oriented The Green Design Center company. That knowledge, combined with Mitchell, Pace & Associates’ solid grasp of the commercial construction market, will allow us to be an even greater resource for people and companies involved in commercial building projects.”
Safe Building Solutions has been handling environmentally friendly and healthy home building products for nearly 10 years through its Wisconsin retail outlet and national retail distribution business.
Mitchell, Pace and Associates provides construction specification assistance and a wide variety of products for commercial and multi-family building and renovation. Its clients include architects, engineers, other subcontractors, contractors, developers and building owners and managers.
